The language center of a chiropteran's brain is a thousand times more sophisticated than a human's (and a human's is pretty damn sophisticated). In developmental psychology terms, this means they never leave the critical period for language acquisition (and probably for other skills and abilities, as well).

Saya was raised bilingual in English and French by Joel and learned Latin as part of her education. She picked up Japanese during the 40's when she and Hagi were hunting for Diva in Germany as per the cover Red Shield invented for her as a Japanese woman.

She doesn't speak a lick of Russian, and she got by in Russia during the Revolution by relying on Hagi to translate Russian for her when she couldn't get by using French (the language of education at the time, if I'm not mistaken).

Even if she's speaking in a language for the first time, she won't have a trace of an accent.

She never would have been able to kill Riku, something she was aware of on a subconscious level. When she was bent on chiropteran genocide, she told Hagi, "It's probably better that Diva killed him. That way I don't have to." But even so, she wouldn't have done it.

She realized Hagi's feelings for her a little after she made him a chevalier, but she always refused to acknowledge them because she believed being her chevalier compelled him to feel that way.

Since regaining all of her memories, she's stopped thinking Joel was such a saint. She still believes he loved her, but she acknowledges that he's to blame for making Diva into the monster she was. She hopes that, if he were to come back to life tomorrow, he would feel remorse for what he did to the two sisters, but she's not so sure he would.

Joel was atheist and didn't introduce her to religion, so she has very little concept of it. Since leaving the Zoo she's become acquainted with it and its role in society, but she doesn't really understand the need people feel to have religious faith.

Solomon was her chevalier. End of story.

After Kai dies, she'll finally fulfill her dream: traveling the world, with Hagi at her side.

Although she'll never forgive Diva for all she's done, she doesn't hate her any longer. She's too worn out to hate her.

She loves the shit out of Diva's babies and wishes she could tell her so.

Rather than not being able to cook, she can't cook well. She grew up being waited on hand and foot at the Zoo, and then while traveling her meals were all cooked for her (either by Red Shield, staff at various locations, or Hagi). She picked up a little during her year with the Miyagusukus in Okinawa, just from helping around the house and the restaurant. But what cooking she can do is very, very basic, and not skilled.

She'll never forget the look on Minh's face when she saw her leaving Lycée des Cinq Flèches the night of the dance party. She wanted to return and apologize, repay her for the dress, and maybe even explain... But she didn't have the chance. It's one of her biggest regrets.
